Serendipity Ave x ghd

As you know, we love love love to accessorise our street style outfits. Certain accessories, statement or subtle can make your outfit. But why stop at your hair?

With ghd, we are trying out something a little more fun with our hair, inspired by the Tokyo trend of adornment with the Nami and Pascale twist. We’ve created two looks using the latest tools from the ghd wanderlust collection and added a Tokyo element – think cute embellishments and accessories in a modern and millennial way. Shop the new ghd wanderlust collection here and scroll down to see how we achieved these looks.

The Side Part with Embellished Waves

Start by blow drying your hair using the ghd air wanderlust hairdryer.

Then, I like to tame my fringe using the ghd V ruby sunset styler to get it under control.

Next create an exaggerated parting and remember the more exaggerated the more fun so have a play around to see what suits you.

When you are happy with your parting, smooth out your hair with the styler – rotating 90º as you move the styler down your hair.

To finish off the look, stack some embellished pins on the opposite side to your fringe. The bolder the better!

The Embellished Twisted Up-do

First, blow drying your hair using the ghd air wanderlust hairdryer. Then start creating some loose waves for volume and texture using the ghd platinum tropic sky styler. Next, brush all your hair backwards hiding your parting and section your hair into three sections horizontally.

Starting with the top section, twist and cross each section to overlap each other remembering to hide the loose ends of your hair. Pin each section into place with embellished pins to bring the Tokyo vibe to life.

Once you reach the last section, tie it together with your hair tie. Try opting for embellished ties like I have for a more fun look. Gently pull the top section to loosen it up and then you’re ready to go.
